What can the Hydroworx 350 do for me?

Moon Physical Therapy offers our patients the best technology with a qualified staff that has years of services helping people in Hawaii. Our physical therapy clinic is also the first health care facility in the United States to install the HydroWorx 350. Through this technology, we’re able to unweight patients varying the water depth with the touch of a button for a pain free workout or challenge our clients with multi-directional movements (backpedaling, side-shuffling, carioca) and upper extremity workouts.

There is also the option to use the hydrotherapy jet, which provides additional resistance during strength and endurance training. The therapeutic massage hose is used for deep-tissue massage to decrease muscle soreness or break up scar tissue and an underwater camera, which allows us to monitor a patient’s mechanics and provide immediate feedback.

What should I expect at my first appointment?

There’s nothing to worry about when it comes to receiving physical therapy treatment at our clinic. Our therapist’s goal is to have you feeling better on your way out than you did when you arrived! At your first appointment, your physical therapist will conduct a comprehensive examination that will determine the best course of treatment for your specific needs. Afterwards, they will design your individualized treatment plan. If they believe Hydroworx water therapy could benefit you, they will incorporate time for you to use the technology during your in-office appointments.

Our physical therapists at Moon PT will treat you individually in a private room during your session with the HydroWorx 350. Typically, treatment is covered by insurance, but we also provide cash-pay services.
