Cupping

Many professional athletes swear by it, saying it keeps them injury free and speeds recovery. Feel amazing with remarkable therapy that uses negative pressure - a suction, rather than tissue compression.

What is Cupping?

Cupping Therapy is the physical suction effect of the cup as it draws blood flow to the treated area and facilitates a “healing” response. Some theorize there can even be a lymphatic draining effect from the cupping that assists with managing swelling from injury or following surgery.

A technique known as Cupping with MFD (Myofascial Decompression) use negative pressure forces on suction cups to create lifting of the tissues. This creates space within the tissue layers for improved gliding and range of motion. This decompression helps release tight tissues, improve blood flow and create a change to the neuromuscular system which allows for temporary pain relief. Once the cups are placed, treatment involves ACTIVE movements of the joints followed by neuromuscular re-education to improve movement patterns and make lasting changes to the tissue.

How Cupping Therapy Helped Others Relieve Their Pain

I really liked the cupping because it helped loosen up the muscles in my neck. It feels close to a deep tissue massage and the pain relief lasts for a good two days
